Here’s where you come in!

Your responsibilities, at a glance, will include:

• Lead and manage the site's Computerised Systems Validation (CSV) and IT Infrastructure Qualification programme, ensuring GxP computerised systems remain validated and compliant throughout their lifecycle.
• Develop, review and approve validation documentation including validation plans, risk assessments, specifications, protocols, reports and supporting evidence for GxP computerised systems.
• Assess change controls, system upgrades, patches and infrastructure changes to determine validation impact and revalidation requirements.
• Maintain the validated state of GxP computerised systems through effective lifecycle management, data integrity controls, periodic review, supplier oversight and compliance monitoring.
• Provide expert CSV, data integrity and IT qualification advice, training and inspection support while collaborating with Quality, IT, Engineering, Operations and external service providers.
• Perform other duties considered appropriate for the position, as required.
• Additionally, collaborate with cross-functional teams within Mayne Pharma's production facility in Salisbury, South Australia, and external technology, engineering and quality partners.

• You will be able to independently manage validation programmes, compliance risks and multiple priorities while demonstrating excellent technical writing, analytical and stakeholder management skills.

Are you a Regulatory Affairs Associate who wants a new challenge in the pharma industry and wants to build your experience?  If so, you’ll join a fast-paced environment that pushes you to achieve your best as you partner with the business to deliver its products and improve its processes.  But you won’t do it alone. You’ll be supported every step of the way as part of a large, high-achieving Regulatory Team. 

Your responsibilities, at a glance, will include:

• Compile documentation necessary for local and overseas regulatory submissions (new product registrations, variations to existing licenses etc.) in line with international regulatory guidance for prescription and non-prescription pharmaceutical products.
• Review change control documents and ascertain Regulatory impact.
• Assist in maintaining regulatory records.
• Write regulatory submission content for CTD Modules 1 and 3.
• Any other duties considered appropriate for the position, as required

Additionally, collaborate with cross-functional teams within Mayne Pharma’s production facility in Salisbury, South Australia, and its commercial partners.

Your responsibilities, at a glance

• Work closely with other scientists, clients, project management, quality and operations teams to ensure agreed outcomes
• Ensure that formulation and process development results in products that meet the target product profile are completed in the agreed timeframes
• Provide leadership to other scientists engaged in the development of new products
• Provide technical support to operations in the resolution of any product development issues
• Maintain information about current formulation technology
• Design, coordinate and execute product development activities including: de-formulation, excipient selection, API selection, equipment selection, Prototype, Batch Records and Scale-up

You will have demonstrated experience or have an understanding of:

• Pharmaceutical Formulation & Product Development: Designing, developing and optimising oral solid dose formulations, including excipient selection, API evaluation, prototype development and Quality by Design (QbD) principles.
• Scale-Up & Technology Transfer: Supporting the scale-up of products from laboratory through pilot and registration/commercial manufacture, including process optimisation, batch record preparation and identification of critical process parameters.
• Current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP): Working within cGMP requirements, maintaining accurate technical documentation, preparing product specifications and ensuring development activities meet quality and regulatory standards.
• Technical Problem Solving: Investigating formulation and manufacturing challenges, evaluating new technologies and suppliers, troubleshooting existing products and providing technical support to manufacturing operations.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Building effective working relationships and communicating with cross-functional teams including Analytical Development, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, Manufacturing, Project Management, CMOs and external suppliers to deliver development projects successfully.

Are you someone who enjoys creating order, improving processes and ensuring documentation is accurate and compliant? Do you have experience in a regulated manufacturing environment and want to broaden your exposure to quality systems?

If so, you'll join a collaborative and fast-paced Production team where you'll play a critical role in supporting manufacturing excellence through effective document control and quality system support. You'll work closely with Production, Quality Assurance and Subject Matter Experts to ensure documentation remains current, compliant and audit ready while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across the site.

Your responsibilities, at a glance, will include 

• Review, update and maintain production documentation including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Instructions (WIs), Master Batch Records and other controlled documents.
• Ensure documentation reviews and updates are completed accurately and within required timeframes.
• Partner with Production, QA and Subject Matter Experts to improve and maintain manufacturing documentation.
• Support Quality Management System (QMS) activities including deviations, non-conformances, CAPAs, Change Controls and investigations.
• Assist with internal and external audit preparation, responses and follow-up activities.
• Support investigations into quality events and assist with implementing effective corrective and preventive actions.
• Develop and update documentation and training materials to support quality improvements.
• Provide documentation support across Production and other departments as required.
  Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance compliance, efficiency and operational performance.
• Perform other duties appropriate to the position as required.

You will have demonstrated experience or have an understanding of:

• Documentation Management: Reviewing, maintaining and improving controlled documentation including SOPs, Work Instructions, Master Batch Records and associated GMP records.
• Quality Systems: Supporting deviations, CAPAs, Change Controls, investigations and other Quality Management System processes.
• Regulatory Compliance: Working within GMP and regulated manufacturing environments while maintaining accurate, audit-ready documentation.
• Collaboration: Building strong working relationships with Production, QA and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver documentation improvements and quality outcomes.
• Continuous Improvement: Identifying opportunities to improve documentation, processes and compliance while supporting operational excellence.
• Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Experience within the pharmaceutical, food, cosmetic or other regulated manufacturing industries will be highly regarded.

Additionally experience working within and enjoying the challenge of a high throughput laboratory will be well regarded.

The Role
Join a dynamic pharmaceutical manufacturing environment where you will take ownership of Engineering and Maintenance activities across the site. This is a rare opportunity to work independently, apply your expertise broadly and influence how compliant digital systems are governed throughout their lifecycle.

The role leads the activities of the Engineering and Maintenance department and is responsible for establishing and embedding business practices and processes to support the effective and efficient day to day operations of the engineering and maintenance team. This includes EAM, all maintenance activities including preventative maintenance, equipment calibration, site services and parts inventory management. The position is also responsible for driving and support continuous improvement within the team and production.

Your responsibilities, at a glance, will include:

• Lead and manage the Engineering, Maintenance and Validation to ensure safe, reliable and compliant manufacturing operations.
• Oversee maintenance, preventative maintenance, calibration and Engineering Asset Management (EAM) systems to maximise equipment reliability and plant performance.
• Manage site capital budget, engineering budgets and site infrastructure improvements, ensuring delivery on time, within budget and in compliance with GMP, WHS and environmental requirements.
• Provide engineering leadership across equipment qualification, technical support, quality investigations, continuous improvement and regulatory inspections.
• Develop, coach and lead the engineering team while driving a high-performance culture focused on safety, reliability and operational excellence.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, TGA, FDA, EPA, Australian Standards and internal quality systems, policies and procedures.
• Build strong relationships with Operations, Quality, EHS, Manufacturing and external contractors to deliver engineering solutions that support business objectives.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives that enhance equipment performance, operational efficiency, reliability and cost effectiveness.
• Perform other duties considered appropriate for the position, as required.
